FUCK OFF: 
THE BOOK OF D.I.Y PUNK SUBCULTURE

Shocking and eye-catching, the covers depict the “fuck off” hand gesture, which directly represents the title of the book.

The book pages are in different sizes to make it seem like the entire book is combined with several flyers and booklets from the punk era. To capture the punk spirit, page numbers and typesettings are purposely misplaced, and trim edges are intentionally kept throughout the book.

This is an imaginative exhibition about the D.I.Y punk subculture. While viewing and interacting with this exhibition, a visitor would feel the punk movement's rebellious essence in person.

This interactive installation is inspired by how punk people wear graffitis, phrases, and patches on their body. The whole device will be a body-tracking projection; the projection’s foreground will flash in high contrast graphic elements along with the beat of punk music while the body-tracking device forms the cut-out silhouettes of the viewer’s body motion to reveal the patches and band logos underneath.

This section truly captures the "do it yourself" aspect of the movement. Viewers can engage with the art space by leaving notes and doodles on the wall.
